Agnes, you were always the life of a party and had one of the jolliest cackles I've ever heard. You will be sorely missed but were dearly, fiercely loved. X

A friend since 1961. We laughed a lot , through good times and bad. I will miss you.

Our prayers accompany Agnes as she leaves this world behind to take up residence with her loved ones in eternity, where she will meet again all she loved, and find again everything she build with love here on earth. Love alone remains, and it will remain forever, because it comes from God, who is Love. We know this from St John’s letter in the Bible, but faith can also give us a tangible experience of that huge truth.
And that’s what we wish for all who love Agnes and are now grieving for her, to us our dear friend Ann’s Mum: May God who IS Love, continue the gifts of joyful family celebrations, great/grand/motherly affection, guidance and help and all she was to each one of you, the beautiful family she and John had brought into the world.
With gratitude for all that, and our love to you all.
